Cookies & Browser Storage
What Kinuly stores in your browser and how you can control it.
Last updated October 1, 2026Draft for launch. Operator postal details and deployment-specific disclosures are being finalized. Operator information
01Instagram authorization in this tab
While you connect Instagram, session storage in the current browser tab temporarily remembers the authorization link, its expiry and your choice of device. This lets you recover the QR code after refreshing the page. The saved link is removed when the connection is completed or cancelled; closing the tab clears this browser storage. Treat the authorization link as private.
02Affiliate attribution
Referral links carry a code to sign-up. If you register through one, we store the referring partner against your new account, along with the commission rules. We do not set an affiliate tracking cookie.
03Sign-in session
Our authentication cookie keeps you signed in to Kinuly and is configured to last up to seven days. It is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax and is marked Secure when the public service uses HTTPS. Signing out removes the browser session cookie. Blocking it prevents normal sign-in.
04Preferences and the demo
Browser local storage remembers the light or dark theme you choose and sample workspace changes made in the interactive demo. Local storage remains until removed by the browser, cleared by you or replaced by the application. Do not put confidential information in the sample demo.
05Third-party requests
The site currently loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the network information needed to serve those files, including your IP address. Instagram authorization opens the platform’s own pages, which have separate browser-storage policies. Crypto payment requests in our checkout are sent through the Kinuly backend. Public blockchain transactions remain public.
06Tracking and controls
Kinuly does not install advertising pixels. Product analytics (PostHog) run in cookieless mode: they set no cookie and use no browser storage, and are described in the Privacy Policy. Authentication storage supports the service you request; theme and demo storage support the features you use. Clear site cookies and storage in your browser to remove these entries; this signs you out and resets preferences and demo changes. If non-essential tracking is introduced, its controls and any required consent will be provided before it is enabled.
